Common questions and answers for EM SelectPro – Product Compare.

Questions & Answers

EM-SelectPro Product Compare App is a Shopline app that allows customers to:

  • Select multiple products and compare them side-by-side.
  • View product details like price, specs, variants, and custom fields in a comparison table.
  • Make faster purchase decisions by seeing differences clearly.

Follow these steps to enable the compare functionality:

  • Open the Installation Steps tab and follow the guide.
  • Enable Theme App Extension (App embed) in Theme Editor.
  • Add the 'Add to Compare' app block to product cards.
  • Click Save in Theme Editor after changes.

If you don't see the 'Add to Compare' block, please check the following:

  • Ensure the Theme App Extension is installed and enabled.
  • Confirm you're using a compatible OS 3.0 theme.
  • Reload Theme Editor after installing/updating extensions.

You can customize the compare table and button styles by following these steps:

  • Use the Customization tab inside the app.
  • Adjust General, Font, Button, and Image settings.
  • Preview changes and click Save to apply.

To test the compare feature on your storefront:

  • Open a Collection page on your storefront.
  • Select multiple products using 'Add to Compare'.
  • Open the compare table/page and validate fields/styles.
